Leveraging Flexible Packaging, Labeling & Distribution Strategies to Achieve Clinical Supply Chain Effectiveness

As the biopharma industry continues to evolve by developing more groundbreaking medicines and recruiting trial patients from diverse populations, traditional clinical packaging, labeling and distribution strategies are also being challenged. This webinar will review innovative supply chain solutions that can be implemented to help meet sponsors’ needs in this continually changing landscape.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

Evolution of Clinical Supply Models:

Technological, industrial, and life science trends that continue to impact and shape the clinical supply chain.

Comparison of Clinical Supply Models:

What are the current clinical supply models? How are they differentiated, and which models work best in which scenarios?

Attributes and Benefits of a Demand-Led Model:

Key aspects to consider when establishing the model to provide reduced lead times, less waste and lower costs.

Flexibility within a Demand-Led Model – the Hybrid Approach:

How can switching the demand-led model on and off at key points within the study maximize efficiencies and enable economies of scale throughout the supply chain?

Processes, Systems and Tools to Enable a Demand-Led Model:

How to pool supplies at a program level, aggregate demand at a hub level and set up IRT systems to support inventory management and order oversight across hybrid supply chains.

Demand-Led Supply in Action:

A case study simulation comparing demand-led with traditional supply chains using real life examples, including calculating costs and reviewing outcomes, both quantitively and qualitatively
