BSMA – Bio Supply Chain Management Alliance was created to bring together supply chain, operations and logistics leaders across the biotech, biopharma and medical technology industries, with one shared ambition: to build more resilient, innovative and efficient life sciences supply chains.
Born in the San Francisco Bay Area, one of the world’s leading biotech and healthcare ecosystems, BSMA has expanded internationally and has been firmly established in Europe since 2016 through its Belgium-based nonprofit organization.
At the heart of the European life sciences ecosystem, BSMA Europe connects professionals and organizations across all major European hubs, including Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the Nordic countries, the UK, Ireland and beyond.
Beyond Europe and the United States, BSMA is also developing its community and initiatives in Asia, particularly India, and Africa, creating connections across regions and bringing global perspectives and solutions to the industry.
Today, the BSMA community brings together hundreds of life sciences companies, leading solution providers and key stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem — including logistics and technology providers, wholesalers, hospitals, international organizations, public authorities and research institutions.
Through conferences, working groups, collaborative initiatives and knowledge sharing, BSMA connects the people shaping the future of life sciences supply chains worldwide.
The mission of BSMA is to help supply chain professionals build an effective and efficient supply chain STRATEGY for the Life Sciences industry by developing, advancing, and disseminating best practices, knowledge, and research; to INNOVATE by encouraging and promoting the highest quality and clinical outcomes in patient care and welfare; and, to build a COMMUNITY of thought and practice leaders from the business, professional association and academic sectors for information exchange, shared services, and collaboration.
